You may want to disable international calls on your customers phone systems entirely by default, or have it enabled/disabled on a per user basis.
Disabling the international calls by default is usually a good idea as it will safeguard against fraudulent calls if an extension is compromised.
This guide will require access to your Service Provider or Organization in VoIPNow.
To enable international call barring for an entire Organization you can follow the steps below.
Login to VoIPNow using the appropriate management credentials. https://sip01.mhn.net.au
Once logged in click on "Outgoing Routing" under the "Telephony Settings" section of the home page
Click the "Add Outgoing Routing Group" button
Adjust the settings to match the screenshot below
Make sure to click "OK" to the right of the rules to save the entry
Once the routing group has been created click on "Organizations" on the left and then click into the Organization you want to enable the call barring for
Click on "Edit Organization"
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see an "Outgoing Routing" option, change the dropdown next to this to be the "International Call Barring" routing group you created before. Click "OK" to save the settings
Now all outbound calls from extensions within the VoIP Organization to international numbers will receive a busy message instead of the call being routed out.
If you want to disable the call barring you just need to change the dropdown back to "--" which disables the routing.
You may want to enable the Call Barring only for specific users or set it up so that you can enable/disable it on a per-user basis, making it so that only specific users can call internationally.
Either login to the Organization if its a VoIP Bundle, or Click into the Organization you want to configure the call barring for it its a Wholesale VoIP account.
If the Organization is under a Wholesale VoIP account you will need to impersonate the Organization in order to follow this guide
