Recurring and Once-Off Charges

You can now create recurring and once-off charges that are not associated with services purchased through Hosted Network.

Recurring Charges

The Rebilling System allows you to create as many recurring charges as needed for your customer. Click on “Add Recurring Charges” to get started.

Then fill out the form with the details for your recurring charge.

Once filled out, click “Save” and you will be redirected back to the customer page with the new recurring charge..

Pro-Rata

Recurring Charges has a pro rata feature, allowing you to setup a pro rata for a service if needed. It allows you to select when the charge is to be billed from and if the date is different to the first of the month, the service will be charged by using the following equation.

( Price / Total Days In Month ) * ( ( Total Days In Month - Effective From) + 1 day )

e.g. ($10 / 31) * ((31 - 12) + 1 ) = $6.40

Breakdown:
($10 / 31) = $0.32 : Cost per day
(31 days - 12 days) = 19 : 12th day is the effective from date e.g. 12/01/2021
19 + 1 = 20 : Include the effective from date

The example shown above with the effective date of 20th of August 2021 will be charged on the first of the next month:

( 100 / 31 ) * ((31 - 20) + 1)) = $12.00

Below is the example of a recurring charge configured for the 1st of the month and also one with pro rata from the 20th of the month:

All fields are required to be filled out for you to create Once-Off Charge.

Once filled out, click “Save” and you will be redirected back to the customer page with the new once-off charge as seen below.
