Configuring the Group Policies

Horizon DaaS comes with a set of ADMX templates for Active-Directory Group Policies that allow you to adjust the default functions of the Horizon Client, Horizon Agent and performance of the VDI.

You can do things like:

• Disallow specific USB types from being redirected (e.g. disallow USB Flash drives from being redirected)

• Enforce or disable Clipboard Redirection

• Limit the Video quality

• etc

To apply the ADMX templates download them from our link below and copy them to the "%systemroot%\Policydefinitions" on one of the Active-Directory servers.

We recommend running through all of these and configuring the items that are needed or believed to be necissary.
