# SDWAN Bonder Provisioning

## Important Notes / Requirements:

* Antares Portal Access: [How to login to Antares Portal](https://kb.hostednetwork.com.au/support/services/connectivity/sd-wan/getting-started/how-to-login-to-antares-v2-portal)
* An Internet accessible connection.
* A laptop with an ethernet/Network Adapter and Wi-Fi connection.
* Node Key - needed for manual provisioning. (Can be obtained in Service Details in Partner Portal or in Antares Portal)

## Zero-Touch Provisioning:

1. Obtain the MAC address of the node hardware. This is found on the underside of the hardware itself.
2. Log in to your Antares Portal.
3. Navigate to the corresponding bond/node. This is typically shown on your dashboard by default.
4. Once the node is opened, Click Action > Node Provisioning then input the MAC into the field and ensure that **all characters must be lower case**.\

 Click Save.
5. You will notice that the profile is now waiting for the hardware to be found with a message atop the Antares profile advising the Node is awaiting provisioning.
6. Connect the bonder eth1(WAN1) into an Internet capable network and power on the Node. \
This can be behind any router/firewall with internet or direct to an NBN connection.\
It is highly recommend connecting it to a direct internet connection to avoid unforeseen firewall/router issues.
7. Turn on the bonder. If previously powered on and connected prior to Step 6, please power cycle the device.
8. Wait for approximately 5 Minutes and monitor the profile in Antares. If the device fails to successfully come online, check the Internet connection to the node is valid and power cycle the device once more.
9. If it still fails after step#8. Please cancel the node provisioning in the Antares portal.
10. Transfer the connection to bonder's eth2(WAN2) from the previous internet connection port. Follow again the step #4. If the device still fails to successfully come online, please proceed with the next method below.

## Manual Provisioning via Web Interface

Connection Requirements

* Connect the Bonder eth1(WAN1) to an Internet accessible connection via DHCP/IPoE.
* Connect the LAN port(eth0) of the Bonder to your Laptop (or any PC).
