Tenant Creation

A tenant is the container for one of your customers. This article covers creating one.

Each of your customers gets their own tenant. The tenant holds that customer's users, their Virtual Data Centers and all of their workloads, and it keeps them separate from your other customers.

Under the vDC pool model, Hosted Network creates the Virtual Data Center for the new tenant. Raise a request once the tenant exists. Under the Reseller pool model you create it yourself from your reseller allocation.

Creating a tenant is done from your own reseller account, not from inside a tenant.

To do this follow the steps below:

• Click Tenants in the left sidebar

• Click Create Tenant at the top right of the list

• Enter the customer's company name in the Name field

• Click Save

The new tenant appears in the Tenants list straight away. Open it to add a tenant user, and the Virtual Data Center it needs.
